Wow ,can't believe I've been involved with this community :grouphug: and this site for a year :birthday: (5/25). I've met so many awesome ppl here and gone through so many evolutions of this hobby over the course of a year....
This all started with a 55G set up :fight2: , i set it up real professional :Up_to_som ...i had a emperor HOB filter with a special silicate loaded HD sandbed, about 3"...and a top of the line :wink1: florescent DIY lighting in a DIY canopy specially built
...got a bunch of my first L.R from Sean (Aquatic Creations) all 3 cost me 12 bux and i placed my coveted rocks :splitspin in the middle of my tank...for 3 weeks i watched these rocks, (lol), and watched the pods and the polyps grow...my first fish is my still alive and bitchin yellow damsil....
Then to my 90G, ....by then i had went to see David (spykes) tank, he had his 125G running then.....Thinking: BTW, he's had more different tank set ups than i can count and still counting,lol),
showed me the light, .........MH 250W lighting, then onto a spykes skimmer, (which i broke) and to my MTC skimmer i have now....and the rest of my rock.
oh, cant forget the 2 frag swaps that i spent way too much money at, ....did i say that out loud?!?
:bunny: and now my 125G, (the same 1 i first saw in Davids house ) is now mine and up and running....2 months ago it looked like this...
now....
all the corals ive had, ive bought and sold, is alot, ...the ones that were given, r treasured, ppl here give constaintly, even today as i write, some1 wants to give from thier tank, cool place MR is.....
....this hobby is not for the faint of heart!:iamwithst
