My kids are learning how to play and are killing me with questions that I have no answers to. Anyone know how to play. I used to play Magic in MS and HS and even that has changed a whole lot.

I've got a binder full of cards.Was trying to sell them here for the longest.
Ok so apparently they play the approved format at the local store. That format is getting a new set of rules in August and some cards will not be allowed. Kids had a great time playing today but want new cards lol. SO we played and bought etc. I need a pokemon to english dictionary. I guess like others did with me and Magic the Gathering when I was younger. Searching the internet has been fun for other things but trying to figure out what is legal and not legal for tournaments is difficult but I think I have it covered. Unlimited format is cool I think because you can use any card from the beginning to now. Either way anyone have any suggestions let me know.
Yes it is confirmed, my 6 year old son told me to search his deck for any card not in the black and white set and take them out and swap them with any card that is comparable to what I have removed. He says he doesn't want to break the law. THE POKEMON LAW.
