Originally, it's sand beach with palm trees

and two days ago, there is a storm(a storm inside my head) and turn it into this

The sad thing is I like the beach more than reef!:headache:

The good thing is I found new borns without my knowledge. I got baby clams. See the tiny light brown thing infront of the clam that is on the sand..... That's a baby calm. :flower: Show you how many I got in next pic after finish uploading.

Re inventing the wheels.

The shipment of of a bigger power filter is delayed and I have no more patience or, may be, being a cheap "mustard"-I decided to use the old wishper, good only enough for 5G tank, in this new 20G with a twist.

Putting the intake into the pvc tube which I originally made for irrigation and cleaning purposes. Notice the white layer on the bottom. I turned this irrigations ystem into an under gavel filter again. Why am I reinventing the wheels???? Since nobody like undergravel system, I may be able to pursauade a LFS to give me one for couple bucks.

The effectiveness is not bad though. It's only the second day after I set it up with all these moving, the water is almost crystal clear.

Since it's fresh water planted tank, nitrate is not an issue, so I think I will let this go for a while to see how good is this old technology. Of course, I will have to find way to cover the tubes. They are just too outstanding in a scenic environment.

The airstone is just for in case the reinvented "wheels" does not work. I will remove sooner or later.

saw this tank in person yesterday and i must say it is very nice.

it just hit me, why dont you cover the green hose and pvc w/ some more java moss or something similar?

or place the java moss you have currently in front of the plumbing to hide it.
