Tanked, especially that guy Brett, reminds me of the morons on Jersey Shore. Half of the show is fake/scripted and the "stars" are dumber than (not live) rocks. And yeah...the stuff they leave out... Even my girlfriend - who knows nothing about fish keeping - commented the other day "wow that's a lot of yellow tangs..." SIGH

I'm also annoyed at it from the stand point that non-aquarium keepers might see the show and falsely conclude that all aquarium keepers are as stupid as those pecker heads. It makes me angry. It's the same as someone watching Jersey Shore or the like and concluding that all Italians are over tanned, alcoholic, wife beating a#$hats. Yeah you'd have to be a dumbbell to draw that conclusion, but it still annoys m because there are a lot of dumbbells who will help propagate that stereotype.

Hard to say they are dumb as rocks. they have a TV show and a business that does work all around the country. sure its scritped but how many people will tune into a show on people entering a business asking there questions and then making a tank. i know i wouldnt tune in. if that was interesting why not set up a camera behind a home depot kitchen and bath design and call it a TV show. there are many ways to set up tanks and im sure all the surprise gasps from there customers is also scripted. im sure they were there as they setup the tanks. IT A TV SHOW

I have them coming tomorrow to install a tank they designed for me.

It's going to be a 23,000 gallon shark tank in my backyard with a 14" sandbed and 400W halide lighting underneath the tank.

It will be up and running later in the afternoon and they're binging 4,325 yellow tangs, 525 achiles tangs, 5 nurse sharks, 15 black tip sharks, 429 blue spot rays, 1,197 fire shrimp, 22 pair of tomato clowns and 395 firefish.


They said they'll all get along wonderfully with 0 agression issues since they're all going to be added at the same time.

Oh boy guess none of you guys know about how they edit these reality TV shows. It could be months between setup and adding fish. Shame on the guys from the program for not making that clear. But then again I don't think this is a show about fish keeping its more of a comedy or at least they think it is.

i personally like it. i couldnt care less what they do. i know what i do and i do the right thing. theres a lot of people on here who dont do the right thing and no one reams them. how many threads have we seen where people have tangs in 30g tanks? lol who cares what they do on the show. its good entertainment. for those who dont like it dont watch it lol plain and simple. then go join Paul Watson and whale wars and fight a real battle. now that show is good.
