Damn, losing the series 2-1 hurts. But losing Matsui indefinitely hurts a lot worse. I winced when I saw him do that.

I am not a fan of Yankee but I didn't really care so much about Yankee lost a series but yeah it was really hard to see Matsui was getting hurt. That looks really bad and I am not sure how long it will take him to come back. I heard he is going to get a surgery this morning. I hope he recovers it fast. I hate to see anyone getting hurt in this game.

I'm not a fan of anyone getting hurt either. It was a very painful injury to watch. I like being able to win games against teams that are full strength. It's much more satisfying when noone can say, "but if so and so was healthy and playing......."
Anyway, I think surgery was scheduled for today like you said. I think this is going to be a mid to end of summer return (my opinion totally) if not later.

During the lunch time, I was listening to 660AM, Mike and a Mad Dog show. And they were saying Matsui got his surgery done this morning. And they are expecting 3 months recovery time. And Mike was saying that he is not expect to see him coming back to Yankee til late September. This is really bad news for Yankee since Sheffield's injury is much more serious than they thought. He will be getting MRI today or tomorrow and he might be out til later this year too. 2 outfielders are out and they are not just regular outfielders, they are exceptional outfielder.

Can Yankee survive with losing atleast 200+ RBI players (both combine score)? We'll have to see what Yankee will do next few weeks. I think they have to bring some good outfielder very soon.
