I like the little things about Chrome also. You sign into the browser with your gmail account, and then you can do all preferences like homepage, or what tabs open when you open the browser. So wherever you are or what puter you are on, as long as there is chrome you can sign into the browser and just like you were home. I do with with my wife's computer (she has mac and uses safari) so Chrome is mine on her system so all my preferences are always there.
Just so you know though the one thing that I don't like about it, is that if you use the standard Chrome Installer it only installs for THAT user. If you want to install for all users you need to use a different installer. I came up with that issue when I needed to install Chrome for a few systems at work.
