web browser question

i switched from ie to firefox a long time ago. but the question is what is better firefox or google chrome or even safari i have a mac. i did the speed test and firefox came up the highest but it seems like google chrome is faster so what would you recommend.

I like Chrome the best. Chrome is actually built on Firefox. I feel that it is the fastest browser out there. Rarely have any issues with it.

I like the little things about Chrome also. You sign into the browser with your gmail account, and then you can do all preferences like homepage, or what tabs open when you open the browser. So wherever you are or what puter you are on, as long as there is chrome you can sign into the browser and just like you were home. I do with with my wife's computer (she has mac and uses safari) so Chrome is mine on her system so all my preferences are always there.

Just so you know though the one thing that I don't like about it, is that if you use the standard Chrome Installer it only installs for THAT user. If you want to install for all users you need to use a different installer. I came up with that issue when I needed to install Chrome for a few systems at work.

Well it will not make your Internet Connection Faster (well it may appear that way) It is the program that runs much faster and smoother with out the CRAP that IE has.

Also as a recommendation, if you are going to install ANYTHING that says FREE in the title, 90% of the time it comes with some sort of tool bar for browsers. So when you are installing that FREE program make sure that you read the directions and done pre-maturely click and always UNCHECK to install those toolbars. If you cannot disable that toolbar on install, then I would not install that program.

i went from ie -firefox - chrome.
for casual surfing n facebook i like chrome. firefox use to be good but not so much as they updated it.
