Dvr ppv question

My son wants to watch WrestleMania. I am trying to find out if fios will let me dvr it for him. Anyone know if it is possible? I also want to watch it btw but this is for him. He says he wants to see John Cena kick The Rocks butt.

Is the DVR part of your cable plan? If so I think u can but I would call verzion fios first.

Yes dvr is on my plan. My girlfriend asked optimum, her provider, and they said that you can't on optimum. Fios gives me an option to record and order but not sure if it is possible.

I have done it on optimum before, but I didn't schedule it. I did a manual recording of the channel; meaning, I watched it and pressed record when the fight started and stop when it was over.

I believe FiOs is the same way. you can't schedule, but you can manually record.

Found the vcr today. It works. Going to try and record on that and manually on the DVR. If anyone knows another way let me know.

Chief I don't think that it will work. I have tried in the past and nothing happens when you press the record button while watching something that you ordered.

BTW my son is 6 and doesn't understand that there are things out there that you cannot tape.

Unless you really want to watch it live it will replay every 4 hours starting tomorrow (6A, 10A, 2P and 6P) and for $15 cheaper.

yea for fios unless they changed it you can't record anything you order or play on demand I have tried.

VCR and DVR worked! My son is watching now and is very happy!
