Jets = pathetic

Is there any team in the NFL than the Jets that is more of a laughing stock? Apparently, they will do ANYTHING to get their name in the paper - Tebow, really? I guess that is almost the same as winning two Super Bowls in four years. They are a team whose entire legacy revolves around a single game that happened four decades ago. If the Jets were a teenager everyone would say that signing Tebow represents a pathetic cry for attention.

Grew up with a pretty miserable sports fan life--mets,jets, islanders. The mets and jets do the same thing everytime- they sign one huge player and expect them to carry the whole mediocre performing team like one star player is the recipe for success.

I'll admit I am a tebow fan but as a Jets fan I dont think it was a smart move to help/motivate the franchise QB. They should have used thier draft picks to beef up the offensive line ohh and hopefully they can get rid of wayne hunter too.

It looks like the deal may fall apart anyway but how is this a bad deal? A forth and swapping a 6th or a 7th for a very athletic guy who is team orientated. Who says he is going to play QB? Just because Denver used him as one doesn't mean anyone else will. I would love to see him fill in for LT. He is a great running back that will add a new level with the ability to pull up and throw a pass occasionally. Or TE. He is a talented they will get him on the field and not just 1 or 2 plays for wildcat. His cap number is 1.1 mil That is a bargain if he turns out to be a good change of pace back that can fill in at TE WR and QB

Tebow is a big name? Yeah sure every one knows his name but its not for the right reason. People were just amazed that this horrible qb took denver to the broncos and for his personal life of being a out and out christian who was seen praying on the sidelines. He wasnt spoken about because he was a elite qb. This move puts a bad taste in my mouth for the jets and apparently someone didnt read his contract and he is owed alot of money the jets now have to eat.

In all this I feel bad for Tebow. In all I've read he is an uber hard worker off the field. Always working to get better. He needs to go somewhere that can develop him into a starting QB. He doesn't have to start but he does need to be in a learning situation. The Jets isn't that place.

Why did he sign him then? The Jets are up to something we all don't know yet and for some reason I believe in this one.....can't wait till Preseason
I see the future..... SanChez gets hurt and Tebow will fill the spot and bring them to playoffs

whats wrong with sanchez.he has better statistics in his first three years then any QB in this era. look it up, sure his work ethic sux but that will come when he matures and stays focused on football and less on swimsuit models

Feel sorry for Tebow? Maybe as a player, maybe.
I had enough of that evangelical crap before he ever signed an NFL contract.
But the Giants are happy and that's all that matters. If the Jets are an immature teenager then the Giants are their older sibling jealous of any positive attention they get.
