Introducing legislation to overturn the 1989 ban on dwarf tossing is idiotic. The fact that is actually a dwarf tossing ban in the first place is just as idiotic. Adult dwarfs don't need to be protected from their own social, moral, and financial choices. IMO if they want to make $$ by being thrown more power to them. We all know people do much worse things for money. JMO

I agree..they're small not children. They do dwarf tossing and midget wrestling because there isn't many opportunities out there for a midget. It's not like random people are just picking them up off the street and throwing them somewhere these people are booking parties so people can do this. If they don't mind why should any of us full growns? LOL

I can tell you from first hand experience that Florida is a f**ked up state! There are worse things they do for fun down here. I've heard of the dwarf tossing thing and the above comments are correct. These people choose to get tossed.

Sometimes even adult human beings are incapable of making decisions in their own best interest, so others have to pass laws to protect us from our own selves. (drinking and driving, illegal use of drugs, texting while driving, etc). So, unfortunately, there needs to be a law to protect these people from being taken advantage of by others. Should there even be a law....I would say no but we're not always suitable/capable to make decisions in our best interest. In my utopia, there would be no need for any such laws but.....

Dude, I've been asking myself this exact question scince I made the HUGE mistake of moving down here!!! I watch this show on you tube called Sourcefed and they do a "Stoopid vs Stewpid" thing and everyone seems to be from Florida!! This state has the most moronic criminals! And the law abiding citizens arent that far off. I could go on and on about this sh*t state but I'll leave the rest up to the imagination. This state is great for vacations cause your only here for a week or so. Spend a year down here and you'll wanna kill someone!!!

My friend owns a bar in long island and got shut down when he was holding the event. That was years ago but I think there's a law here too
