Tebow has done nothing any middle of the road QB hasn't done. I don't even think he's got the talent to be in the NFL. Sad they're giving him a job.

peyton is the greatest QB in my era and arguably in history of the NFL. BUT the surgery he had is extremely hard to come back from let alone a hit will knock him out for good. i give him 8 to 10 games before he is out again and for good. tebow should not be a NFL QB he has NO arm and i believe any 3rd string QB from any team would have been a improvement

You guys don't think he'd be an asset because Sparno's running the offense? After all it was nirtually him who reintroduced the wildcat/option a few years back in Miami. I've yet to see anyone run that offense as well as Tebow. Realize now you have the traditional Jets offense (pass and run), plus a great wildcat/option running game.
I believe this combination will really tire a defense down.

Their locker room is effectively divided and you cannot have that. Without a clear cut QB on your team, you have no leader. Please don't tell me Montana/Young. We have two QB's on this team that don't equal 1/10th of one of those two. Sad day in NY for us gang green fans.

Are Tennenbaum and REx serious? What possible threat would Tebow have to make Sanchez a better player? The idea of getting rid of Brunnel was to pick up a vetren to mentor and threaten Sanchez.

Sanchez was not my QB. Make no mistake about it. I am not a Sanchez fan. With that being said, I don't think Tebow can carry Sanchez's jock strap. THAT's how bad I think Tebow is. We just can't be splitting the locker room even worse than it is.

Basically the Jets just gave away 2 draft picks. Tebow doesn't want to be just the Wildcat quarterback, or a running back, he wants to play quarterback all the time. Also, the Wildcat offense doesn't work, defenses have caught up with it.

Now you may say that Tebow ran it in Denver, but it produced very little scoring, and most of the games that Denver won was because of their defense.

Technically he didn't run the wildcat in Denver. They ran a QB-based run offense.
