They posted a response to this on their site. Some random Tumblr blog isn't really an accurate source of information. I'm not saying that you should or shouldn't donate, but research both sides before posting a statement based on a blog post.
Additionally, I looked through their public financials, and for an $8 million dollar company, their salary spending is extremely low. Even in the non-profit sector, a CEO of an $8m organization usually makes more than the sub $90k salary that this one is taking.

They have spent more on filming then actually helping out the people affected by kony. But then again the point of this org is to make him known and inform the world.

Terrorism will never end. But killing Osama probably brought the families who lost a loved one on 9/11 some closure so maybe it will do the same to the families who lost their kids to Kony.
it doesn't matter if the guy makes 5mil a year to me id rather send him 30$ for doing something good or at least trying to then spend it at some store owned by a crooked co/person/whatever
the point is if this works , it will change the game. It would be nice to see kony gone it would be even better to see the us gov. do something for a noble reason for once. I would be nice to see the gov. listen to people for a change instead of $ and corps.
srsly we all see the writing on the wall we all know where we are heading. the people that are being rewarded to drive us there are not going give up that reward. this is a step toward ordinary people regaining control of our country.
Technology can Unite us , but we have to be willing to take some risk. 30$ ...hardly even counts as a risk..

Seriously? That guy is so dumb i cant believe you actually posted his video. Not only was every point a new clip (bc he cant put together a logic argument, so he had to do each point individually) but his understanding of the matter is laughable.

im not here to argue (WHAT?) but im just saying dont just blindly follow some nicely produced video and give money to some not for profit without really researching it. even if it was a penny.

Worldhippop is just website where people upload b.s of what they have seen or have made at home. The video they uploading must of been a video for funny b.s about Kony. The link I posted up on youtube is the actually thing now that people know what's going on in africa there taking as a joke now just to draw attention on other youtube channels or worldhippop.

true but he does have a point why would some one invest millions on stater packages with stickers and arm bands when all that money invested in that could of been donated to the people in need....to me this sounds like a well planed scam but thats just my thoughts...if he had an army on thousands....i dont think he would be that hard to find....

I agree that you shouldn't blindly go into things, but I'm making the same point. If you want to research something, you have to research both sides and do so from legitimate sources.
Going to other countries puts things into perspective. A large part of that region is war-torn and corrupt. Will someone else take his place? Maybe, but without people that pushed for change in the past, you wouldn't have your elitist lifestyle.
