Police No Parking Sat 10-3pm sign-How to obtain

Hi there,
So, I will be moving to BK next weekend and will have a 26" truck coming to unload my stuff.

That truck will definitely block traffic on a busy saturday on narrow BK streets.

The company has asked me to get the police to issue no parking 'event' signs for me (their other idea was to cone it off...).


How do I accomplish this?

Just call the 88th precinct and tell them what I need and why?

There is no other parking alternative for this truck. I will need to clear out at least 3-4 cars right in front of the new apartment to make this move a reality.

If you have any other suggestions that'd be great. Keep in mind that the move starts in NJ, and I wont be able to have anyone hold the spaces in front of the bK apartment for me.

but there are so many options and none seem to apply.

Done this couple of times when I needed to unload some shipments. I called my local precinct and they were kind enough to close off a street for a while.
