i used to ref up @ newburgh. i pimped out my gun and never saw it. cuz i didn't have time anymore. my friend still has it he still works there. it's an autococker. nothing like the smell of woods and paint in the morning. i'll call him up and see when is his next trip. maybe we can get a MR trip going.

Noodle i have a tippman 98 with flat line barrel and 20oz co2 tank for $150. i'll also throw in a hopper (gravity fed, you'll probably want to upgrade) a two pod pack, and barrel condom.you would still have to buy the goggles, i think thats the only other item you need to play. LMK

personally i would buy the ION by smart parts, but that was $300 for just the gun last i checked.it's an electronic gun that can compete with any $1500 gun out there.

it'd be awesome if everyone would just play with tippmans though...all the little rich kids with $1500 guns and an infinite amount of paint (no regard for money) are turning me off of the sport. thats america for you though, Faster, Bigger, More More More....takes all the fun out the game.

For an MR trip it'd be nice to round up a 10+ group and rent out a field on a weekday (typically slow days for fields). I think me and some friends are going to ABC soon(the field has gotten $h!ttier with time, i don't know what state it's in now). i'll post the details when i get them.

ok, buy an ion or a tippman to start off. the ion is considerably more expensive when compared to the tippman but does soooo much that it makes up for the difference in cost. tippmans are the most durable guns, also a good gun to start off with.

then, before buying a gun, get out there and play to see what gun you like. if we ever go together i'll let you use all my guns. i have three
the ion, the tippman, tippman with flatline barrel (this is just a barrel for the tippman that puts backspin on the ball so that the ball travels farther before dropping), and my autococker. if any of my friends tag along i don't think they would mind letting you shoot their guns either. i'll post next time i go.

You can go for the tippman 98 pro or custom gun its a great starter gun or a knock off version of the tippman the tac 5 by JT is also a good gun ...I am using that right now and it does the job...both are semi -automatics and with minor upgrades down the line work well....even leaving it stock works good.
