FWIW. My understanding is that once scotch is bottled it ceaces to benefit from age.
A 12 year old bottle of scotch that is bottled tomorrow will not taste better in 2060.

I like a little water in my scotch. So the melting is good for me. Some people love the stainless steel ice cubes too.

I enjoy Balvenie Single Malts. They have them in 12, 15, 17, 21 & 30 year bottles.
