Damn, painful memory. I was at the game. I had season ticket on that year and I sold one ticket because one of my best friend was getting marry. But that one game Mets won, I wasn't there :(

But I sold it for $800 per ticket so I got my money back though, LOL.

Yankees fans start your own thread, LOL.

GO mets, we got it this year!

My favorite moment of all time was watching the yankees choke and get swept the last four games against the redsox, man that was classic! I will tell that to my kids and grandchildren some day.

It's hard for me to decide which is my alltime favorite moment
I'd have to narrow it down to the '77, '78, '96, '98, '99 or 2000 World Series Championship :banghead:

Mets got really great team this year. I am so happy how we are doing right now.

Yankees has great line up every year. Again this year, it's allstar team. However, you guys have your own problem, it's far from perfect team.

Big question mark on your starters. How well Johnson will hold up this year, he is pretty old guy. Can Chacon play like last year? Can Wang meet his expectation?

Mariano is one of the best closer ever in history of baseball. But is Yankee's relief pitch can hold the score til Mariano to come out?

Nice to see Yankee finally is starting to show some sign this early year but it was against Kansas team. I'll bet Yankee's minor league can beat the hell out of Kansas team in anyday.

Anyway, I am one of those few Mets fan who really don't care about how Yankee is doing, it's not my problem.

LET'S GO METS!!!!!

Hold on now....the Mets have done most of their damage this year against Washington and Florida (a combined record of 4-14). I wish the Mets the best of luck now, because the higher they climb now, and longer the trip back down

I don't think I know the name of one player on the Mets....

1B - Carlos Delgado - Great hitter, expect to see 35+ home run this year
2B - Anderson Hernendez - Great glove, not much hitting.
3B - David Wright - Great player, expect to see 35+ home run this year
SS - Jose Reyes - Great kid. He will have .300 batting and 50+ Stolen Base
C - Paul Lu Duca - I really don't know about him but I heard he is great defensive catcher. No one can be like Mike Piazza.
RF - Xavier Nady - Great start this year.
CF - Carlos Beltran - This will be his break out year. Already showing patient in the plate and showing some power. Great base on percentage, he'll have tons of run being front of Delgado and David and Floyd.
LF - Cliff Floyd - He had great last year. Slow start but he is showing his sign of waking up yesterday game. He'll have 30 home run easily.

Pitcher -
Pedro Mantinez
Tom Glavine
Steve Traschel
Brian Bannister
Victor Zambrano

(Mets had 7 consecutive starter with 7 or more inning throwing this year, these isn't the perfect starting pitch but it's pretty good)

Closer -
Billy Wagner - shaky start this year because of his lack of practice on spring training. But he will be strong closer, not as good as Yankee Mariano but who is????

Well i don't think the trip down can get any worse than that collapse, so i'm ok with it. At least we will fall on top of someone who got there first.

Now, let's be honest here. Although not a yankees fan, i do respect what they have done in the past. But who cares.
