Definitely true about the degree and career!
Though, my undergrad is in marine bio and my current career is in teaching science k-12, and the only tank I have right now is in the lobby of the school I teach in.
So...well, that kind of fits but in a round-a-bout way.
Considering that...I'm not personally in the hobby at the moment. Haven't been for 2 years?? I had to break down because I was just doing too many life things and didn't have time to come home and really focus on the tank at the end of the day or even the weekends.
At work (my job does not pay for the tank or any work I put into it though) I have the club, and the tank is very noticeable. That gives me the drive to make sure I'm doing a good job with the resources I have.
So, I guess that is what I am doing since I do not have a tank of my own!
There is no way that I can be removed 100% from this. There is no work I can be happy doing without some kind of marine system being involved.
