yeah but thy're heavy and slow...... four strokes that is

I'm out on the sound almost every single day.... I think you'll be ok with that size.

I would suggest going with an outboard instead...... from my experiance, inboard/outboards are a pain in the A.....outboards have less moving parts = less things to break.

Ink if you go to a dealer and look around I think you will be able to get something that size bigger for less. Keep in mind you need somplace to store it if you don't have a lake house. If you trailer it that means parking in a place that's safe and secure. If you don't trailer it that means paying a monthly rental for a slip and storage in the winter time as well as winterizing and such. There are alot of expenses that go with it. Don't know if you knew that, figured I'd throw it out there.

Agreed :) I just don't want to tell ink what to get. I use a 25 ft carolina skiff with a 200hp honda on the back for my bay crusing.
