Home for my Angel

I have to face the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I need to find a home for my Umbrella Cockatoo Angel. I have had her for eight years after rescuing her from a bad home. She quickly became such a huge part of my life but unfortunately I am moving and can not take her with me. I love her like a child and want her to go to a loving home that has experience with large parrots. She needs time and attention and even if I could take her with me I do not have the time that she needs in order to be happy. She is a wonderful parrot and loves to snuggle and be scratched. It absolutely breaks my heart to do this so please if anyone knows of someone or is interested themselves please help me find a good home for her. I will not give her to anyone who has never had experience with parrots or without meeting them in their home to see where she will be living. Please PM me or respond here. Thank You

My mom had had an african gry since she was I'd say 30 she's about to hit 65 now a days and the parrot has muct been a part of our (me and my kids now) lives well at least when we go visit grandma. I grew up around one! I'd love to have one and see my kids grow up around one sadly I've just never had enough money to get one from an reputable breeders and like I'm sure you'd already know 1200-1500 minimum! And I mean for a african grey!

Heres a few shots of my mom's grey with my family we've grown up on him for 15+ years ( since we've been together and me much beyond that). If you want to do a home inspection thats more than fine with me and if ever ever want to stop in and see it after that also not a problem not at all looking for a resell I know how priceless they are!

Tim, I've got a buddy who built a room (aviary) onto his house just for his birds. I can find out if he wants another cockatoo.
