I am in the Keys for the week. Went snorkeling in Key Largo today on 3 different reefs. Just wanted to share some pics from today

Thanks! I wanted to see a shark soo bad! One of the reefs we stopped at has a resident bull shark. I was hoping to see him, but he wasnt around.

I think that is a Blue Tang. Maybe an Atlantic Blue Tang?

Thanks for sharing. That maze brain coral looks equal in size to a VW. I love it. Hope you get to see some sharks.

Angelo - That tang is an Atlantic Blue Tang and I have never seen one keep anything even close to that color in captivity. They're almost always a very pale washed out blue on the body.

Thanks! I was going to say that was the blue tang. So amazingly gorgeous, they were just everyhwere.

That brain was enormous. at least that size too. and i am praying i see a shark

He loved Costa Rica. Didnt want to come home. I use a Canon powershot D10, it's waterproof up to 33ft. Love that camera. Takes video too. Might upload one...

How long was the boat ride to get to the reefs?

Thanks! I am enjoying myself. The jellies were so pretty. They went pretty slow just because there were reefs everywhere and they went slow around them. I think it took like 45 minutes to get out to the furthest one. Not boring though, the crew were super nice.

I had an Atlantic Blue in my 180, kept his color; the white spots came and went....
