Anyone play on PSN? Im looking for some people to put together a squad for pub matches. And get ready for BF3.

WHO EXCITED FOR BF3?

They're introducing suppressing fire to BF3 so you won't get people standing there while you shoot them, so they can line up a headshot, which is ridiculous. It blurrs and shakes the screen. I play on PC though, can't beat DX11 or mouse and keyboard. Although, I might have to hook up my rig to the LED TV and play it on the big screen if that makes you feel better lol.

I heard from a few alpha testers that even on a really good rig the game was only running at 55 FPS. I'm sure they will optimize it before release but that doesn't leave much of a ceiling.

I never had an issue on PS3 except with Recon on Atacama Desert while there is a sand storm. got like 15 fps even on the ps3.

I'm hoping the xbox/ps3 platforms will have better FPS due to the static hardware.

Consoles don't have the full graphics so it should be pretty solid. I think there was only one game I ever heard of having issues at launch with graphics having to be turned down.

Last time I played games on PC was Counter Strike. I got a $450 128mb geforce gfx card in 2003.

Rather buy a $250 PS3 and call it a day

I have a PS3 because some games are just better on a pad and the other features are pretty awesome too, but the some games are just way better on a PC GPU with physics acceleration and far bigger processing capabilities.

I think the BC series was to draw in a new group of fans because it was more mainstream than the actual Battlefield games and once they had the following they went all out with B3. Can't wait to see what they did with the jets and helos.

I was one of the Alpha testers for BF3, it was tested on the PC. The graphics is phenomenal. I have a older RIG with 2 8800GT running in SLI. It ran fine, there was so much detail in the game. I can't wait. I was not use to the controls on the PC, i prefer the console version over the PC.

It takes a little while to get used to the controls on PC but keyboard and mouse gives you a lot more control over a gamepad. Especially with a good mouse. More buttons to keep track of but it's worth it.

I played CS, CS:S, SOF2, UT and whatever else for years on the PC. Took me 4-5 months to get good on the PS3 controller.
