says she is gonna take care of my reef while I am off to work and business. Do I believe her or is she blowing smoke up my a-s. Is she selling me? HMMMMMMMMM!


I taught her and my daughter how to take care of it before we made the decision on being a stay at home mom.

Gl with that my wife is a stay at home mom and all she does is look at the tanks and turn on the lights other than that she dosen't know anything about reefs so I don't expect much from her if there was an emergency that's why I plan on settin up my Apex Elite when I do my upgrade

does she show genuine interest in the caring for the inhabitants of the tank or does she just look at it?

my wife watches the tank and takes naps on the couch in front of it but she has no interest in caring for it..... except once in an emergency situation.

i had just connected an algae tank to the 300 gal. system 2 days earlier with no problems detected. i got a frantic phone call at work about the water alarm going off and water on the floor of the equipment room.

do you know how hard it was trying to direct her to diagnose where the water was coming from and then how to shut it off?
but i got to say without her phone call that day, i would have come home to a big mess.

She knows a little maintenance, feeding and care for the inhabitants, but you know what, my daughter will show her because my daughter helps me with water changes LOL.
