Labradoodle and Goldendoodle

Anyone have or know alot about these dogs? Let me know everything (intelligence, shedding, size, training, were to get a pup, etc...)

Very intelligent and trainable dogs, shedding and hypoallergenic is dependant on what generation the pup is from the original two breeds.

I'm trying to choose between them and a jack Russell terrier

As mbg75 says, dont take the non shedding, hypoallergenic for granted, no matter what the breeder says. If the dog gets the traits of the retreiver or lab, he will shed. My sister has the golden doodle sheds much more than my Newfs. Like he says theres the generation thing, 1-2-3 which is if they are bred doodle to doodle and how many generations.

The golden doodles tend to be more hyper than the labor doodle. You may just wanna look at poodles and dont give it the sissy hair cut. There great dogs. Good luck on what ever you get.

I have had Labradors for years, my latest addition

Chocolate one in front, there nature, eagerness to please, lovable, great with other dogs, ppl and children....

Labradoodle is a mix of lab and poodle, but must have the same nature and temperament.

Labs rock. Happy hunting, it's not a easy decision.

Jack Russels are maniacs!!! Tons of energy, need alot of attention, and dig, dig, and dig! Make sure you choose a dog that fits your lifestyle. For example, if you do not have a yard, then choose a breed that doesn't need alot of exercise.

FWIW no dog is actually hypoallergenic unless you can put it in a washing machine (which, obviously, don't do that).

Inbred dog = $2500 and a cute designer name (i.e. Labradoodle).
Inbred human = $2500 trailer and redneck name (i.e. Billy Joe Bob).

Both bark a lot, will make a mess in your home, and like to hang their heads out of pickup trucks.

I'm a shelter / rescue / mutt guy myself, but good luck with whatever dog you get.
