I've been wanting to go fishing since last summer and have not gotten around to it. I am determined to do it sometime this week or next week at the very latest. Not on a pier tho, i want to go out on a boat, anyone go often or have a boat, maybe we can get a group together? any takers?

Where from? Party boats go out of Flushing (World's fair pier) and Howard Beach as well as the usual Sheepshead Bay and City Island. I've been hearing good reports about the Never Enuff, out of flushing...does evening trips for bass and blues.

The fishing licence for saltwater is suspended for 2 years but you still need one for freshwater

Even when the SW license was in effect, you didn't need one to fish from a party or charter boat.
