I have a 5" male cane toad for sale. It is a very low maintenance pet, requiring no special lighting or heating as long as your house doesn't get too cold. He eats mostly crickets with superworms as a treat. You need a minimum of a 20 gallon long sized tank or rubbermaid. (footprint counts more than gallonage)
You also need to have a basic knowledge of amphibian care, and to be careful with it as they do have poison glands which can potentially spray poison if messed with, so keep any dogs, cats, or kids away for safety. Generally, its no more harmful than any other frog, just wash your hands after handling or touching anything in the tank.
