So I want to sell my 8gb iphone 3G, because I upgraded to the 32gb 3GS

Here's the deal though- I don't want to sell it as a phone. Its got some weird bug in the software that apple thought was affecting the earpiece because you can only make calls on speaker or with a headset- but you can hear voicemail perfectly fine without the speaker or headset. My warranty had expired when this happened, so I had to buy a new phone :irked:

So with all that being said, everything else on the phone still works perfectly ,no water damage, screen not broken or scratched. minimal wear and tear on the casing, nothing serious. If you could fix the software problem then hey! good for you, you found yourself deal! But i'm assuming that there's not a whole bunch of people that can deal with a software problem like this, so I'm selling it as a glorified ipod touch. :lol2:

$100 obo- willing to trade for frags/critters +cash as well (actually some great frags and a little cash would be great!) Honestly, I just have no use for this thing since I have a working iPhone. Its just been sitting in a box on my desk, and I hate dealing with scammers on craigslist.:grumpy: So I'd rather deal with the MR family :grouphug: If you can't pick up in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn (2 blocks from Pratt where the last swap was.) I can meet you half way (but I would obviously prefer pickup lol.)

you get the phone with screen protector on it in the original box, charger, possibly headphones (if I can find them, I'm not sure where I put them when I got my new phone- but it works with any headphones.) If I can't find the headphones I'll give you a few extra screen protectors and a silver silicone case.:splitspin

No problem, tried everything. Went to the apple store twice, saw three different techs, even the manager. They said they had never seen a bug like that before, and to send it in for repairs wouldn't be worth it because it would probably end up being more money than a brand new one, and I had an upgrade available. :sigh: It irks me when I have to go there because I was offered a job at the genius bar, so i know a lot of the quick tricks to get things working, and they're kind of pretentious jerks at the ones in nyc.
