GIA Diamond trade

Ok this is a weird request. I presently have a 1.00 carat GIA certified VVS2 F color princess cut diamond from my previous engagement 6 or so years ago. Unfortunately my present gf doesnt like the square princess cut look, and I know if I sell the diamond I am going to take a loss on it, so I am trying to find out if anyone has a round stone of similar size and grade who would be willing to work out some sort of trade or trade + cash deal if its a bigger or better diamond.

On a side note, if no one is interested, does anyone know anybody in the diamond business that would be willing to consider such a request? Thanks

Go down to 47th st. and try to trade it. You never know what someone is looking for.
But before you trade it get the new peice looked at by another party. It wont be hard to find another dealer down there.

trading diamonds with a stranger is very very risky. beware.
i would rather upgrade it with a reputable dealer. go to a few dealers n see what u can trade it for.
