I've had turtles escape from my tanks before they have really hard shells. It's just fall, flip over, and then run away. As long as it's not repeatedly done they should be fine.

I made an eggcrate cover and ladder for it to climbout to the platform where the sun is.

But the truth is, the cover is made more for the purpose of an additional shelve for junk than to lock him in when I feed her. HHAHAHAHAH
