For some reason he become like that he is awesome don't get me wrong

Absolutely! It's a Quaker parrot. If I had a house I'd take it from you. Already have a Grey in my co-op, can't push it.

Your bird looks fully feathered and normal. You had him DNA tested for sex? Otherwise you can't tell the difference.

Just wondering, why did the female die? These birds live longer than most people do.

Thanks

Yea, laying eggs is dangerous and needs to be avoided and discouraged as much as possible. My bird is female and never laid an egg and never will, I hope. I don't provide any nests of places to hide. Only perches.

That's why that box in cage probably wasn't a good idea. Egg laying magnet.

Good luck with sale.

Love the bird, they are the equivalent of 3-6 year old child. My parrot is smarter than me.

Looking at that picture, I understand your birds unfriendliness. He is sad. Those were a true mated pair. Parrots usually don't get along together in captivity. I couldn't just put another grey with mine, a war could break out.

Seeing those two perched side by side, says it all! They were lovers or at least best friends.

Your bird is grieving.

What did you do with all the eggs? Those are babies? I never dealt with eggs and parrot behavior so I can't comment. Like I said, I never want my bird to lay an egg. It's a extreme hardship for them. If you ever own a female bird in general, never provide any type of nesting materials or housing. It's not needed and triggers egg laying.
