look on ebay right now there are crazy deals going on, as well as for the Macro lens 100mm one last night just went for $690 shipped. witch is awesome compared to 1,000$
Cant go wrong with the entry level DSLR canon and a 100mm lens. I would recommend just getting the camera then purchasing two lenses, 100mm 2.8 (corals, and portraiture) and 50mm 1.8 (for everything else) This lens is pretty cheap and you can use it under low light and get a good bokeh (blur). Thats all you will really need. The lens they come with is not as good, the two mentione are much better.
If you can look for cheaper used ones from adorama or Bnh, think they come with a store warranty or something.
