1999 Audi A4 Avant 127k (Lyndhurst NJ)

Figured it was worth a shot. Have an 1999 A4 wagon at my shop for sale. Gold over white/black interior, 5 speed manual. Quattro, 1.8t 4 cyl engine, I average about 24 mpg, up to 30 highway in my 1.8 sedan. We recently did about 3000 worth of maintenance and repair to the vehicle, including
Timing belt water pump coolant flush temp sensor ($900)
Spark plugs, air oil cabin fuel filters replaced($350)
Brand new brake pads and rotors front and rear, low dust pads in the front. (850)
Diff and transmission service(300)
Sway bar end links(225)
Car is in very nice shape, at this point needs nothing! Hood has some rock chips and a small tear in the drivers seat. Backseat and passenger seat are in great shape. Would be great for hauling fish tanks around, seats fold and clear up a ton of room. Come down and check it out, well put it on a lift for you and show you the condition its in. I used to own a 98 A4 1.8TQ.. I developed a love/hate relationship with it. I do miss it though.

Yea, they do have their quirks. Ive been working on them for about 10 years so we addressed the common issues and problems. Vacuum lines and that coolant temp sensor account for tons of starting and idling problems. But overall quality cars, and unstoppable in the snow. I remember powering past everyone on the steep hills in Englewood last winter with the storms after christmas. Never got stuck, and believe me Ive tried ha ha.

Also just put a 98 sedan automatic back together, silver on black 92k which will be for sale soon. If you wanted another relationship like that I mean.

nah I have my project gti out of state... which has been sitting for about 5 years since I last moved it. It's a car I had setup for EMRA racing. I sold another Jetta race car 2 years ago that I had done.
My old A4 had a nice chunk of change installed onto it... Brembos, Upgraded turbo, software, suspension, etc etc... Used to do tuning on European vehicles years ago.

Wow sounds like you got involved with it. Car was probably a nice driver. Any parts laying around? Nowadays the kids are dropping in the 4.2 from an A6, makes me think what I can do with the wagon hhaha.

nah... I think the only parts I have available would be for my mk2 and i think i had some spare 710n bpv laying around.
I have a CF intake that I was going to use... but that never took off... and I am keeping that to install into the mk4 when i get around to bringing up to ny.
