Had a bit of a setback. We had a kid, lol.

The rics took a beating when I stopped the daily water changes, and the cyph. is hurting as well right now. I've stabilized everything and am back to daily WCs, so I hope the nitrate levels drop and my calc/alk get back to some kind of equilibrium.

I sent my light back to Dave Fason at Nano Box Reef for an upgrade. Got the new deep red LED, which acts like a Fiji Purple bulb in the tank. Doesn't do much for growth, but the color blending is really nice. Dave also added some new diffuser material to the unit, which blends everything together nicely and cuts out some of the uber-shimmer.
