My ADA 60-f....shallow paradise

In addition to my ELOS system 70 I also have a nano setup. Its an ADA 60-F (8 gallon) sitting on a 24 inch ADA stand. Its powered by a Fluval G3 automated filter system, ADA lily-pipes (in-flow and out-flow), 50W in-line heater, Vortec MP10, Mame Design glass skimmer, Mame design glass ATO, and an ATI powermodule T5 setup (4 bulb unit) held by stainless steel arms to suspend above tank.

Its been running for about 9 months now.

The glass piece is the Mame Design skimmer....which, as simple as it is, works really well.

Both work flawlessly. The skimmer is a very simple airstone design. But, even though its not high-tech, at the end of the day, it still works very well.

Not yet (knocks on wood).

The closest I've had to clogging is some algae growth in the input pipe...nothing too monumental. I added quick disconnects to both lily pipes (about 2 feet from the actual glass pipe) to make cleaning them a breeze.

It was purchased for the sole purpose of a reef tank.

I love ADA's design and quality so I figured....why not.

I really love the ADA tanks as they are really clean looking but a bit pricey though.
I usually just see them in freshwater planted tanks (as that is where Takeshi Amano is known for).
Very nice in a reef set up.
