How many LEDs for a 24 aquapod how many whites and blues?

For softies/low light LPS should be fine but if you want SPS I'd lean more towards 24 plus with 24 you get the ability to control the color temps.

No, you will be able to keep anything you want and if you think it's to much you can always turn it down.
