LED lighting

I was wondering if anyone has experience using LEDs in the aquarium industry, and I am not talking about moonlights. A friend of mine is doing research on plants and he has told me that LEDs have far better results than any other types of artificial lighting. I am looking to see if anyone has information about this lighting for coral growth.

check em out but they are not cheap

not sure if you have seen them but it can be done- they are claimed to work super well-- but can be a bit much for some corals that dont require high light
