I am going to be setting up a stock nano cube set up later this year and was wondering if any anemones would survive well in a nano with its stock lighting? IF not I guess i will just stick to a leather and some mushrooms.

They will. Anything but carpet anemones ( because of shear size), and rose anemones ( because they love high lighting).
Keep in mind if your going to keep even a sebae in a nano your gonna have to build the nano around the anemone. You might have to switch the bulb out to 100 % 10k instead of 50/50 ( just to make sure its getting enough 10k spec.)and add a moon light led to act as the actinic suppliment.

Tulip Anemone and Stichodactyla tapetum (mini Carpet Anemone) are ideally suited for nano tanks. They are not hosting Anemone though. In my opinion all of the hosting Anemone get too large for nano tanks.

Sebaes grow to something like 2 feet across and they need high lighting. :? In addition they don't handle shipping very well at all. Most come in bleached, dying, or soon to be dead. Not a good choice for a nano.

Healthy H. sebaes are a sight to behold. When I used to work on campus Rob Toonen had a 7 year old specimen that absolutely filled up one half of a 55 gallon lagoon style tank. Nice tan coloration and flowing tentacles. The ones that I see at fish stores are almost all near death, shrunken up and white. :(

That's kind of scary when you think of how large it will grow.
