standard CO2 reactor on a nano?

I recently received a MyReef CR-1 reactor from a larger system that was dismantled...and I have a 15 gal nano up and running. I'm thinking of hooking this up to my system, but have never used a reactor before. My plan would be to drip the effluent into the AC500.

Does anyone see any possible or likely dangers in this? All I can think of is a drop in pH, but I figured if the drip was slow enough, it shouldn't affect it all that much.

Should be fine as long as you have a very slow drip rate. You have to be very very careful tuning it in. You probably know this but when you make an adjustment on the regulator there is a lag for the system to catch up. Make very small changes, then set it and forget it for a day and see how it affected things.

is it the dual-chamber unit? i thought the 2nd chamber eliminates or helps limit the pH shock.

The CR-1 is the single chamber unit...the CR-2 is the dual chamber one.
