I'm starting a 2.5 nano sort of a diy got the tank and tiny powerhead 80gph, planning on live rock (no sand) easy to care for corals (ex. Shrooms and frags from my 100gal) the tank is a rectangle so I'm going to be puttin a false acrylic wall spliting the tank at about 75% so I can have the powerhead and heater(if needed lights and powerhead may be enough or even too much?) behind it with the top being an overflow trying to decide if I want to throw bioballs in it anyone have any input on whether or not I should use bioballs? As I most likely won't have any fish in it I'm not sure if its an overkill that may just collect waste... Lighting is going to be the coralife mini 50/50.... Auto top off a diy (floatswitch.com)... Any thoughts or ideas much appreciated, pics are coming!

so far i got the tank running put a few frags in the tank out of my 100 gallon horrible picture but i dont have my cam right now so i took it with my phone :(

dont know if u can see but its the coralife mini on a 2.5 with a acrylic overflow to a rio 50 and carbon bag no heater as the lights are enough and night drop is only about 5 degrees may need a tiny fan during the day heat peaks at about 83

I am jealous. I have always wanted a 2.5g aquarium exactly like this, with a plexi making a sump/fuge/whatev on the side. Can you show more pix that reveal its construction?

Does evap screw with the water level in the sump?
