This is mirrored in the GRD...

First off, let me say that I miss my Nikon Coolpix 880. I can't stand using unfamiliar cameras, especially ones that seem to suck. I borrowed one of the newspapers 'loaner' cameras and attempted to take some pics of my tank. So, forgive the crappy results. When I get some extra cash I'll buy a used 880 and take some better shots.

That's 10 of them, and the rest are here :

Sorry for the crap quality of the pics. Lots of shots didn't even come out, like my blue mycedium, hot pink echinophyllia, and my other acro frags. I'll have better pics up soon once I get another camera.

Peace,

Chip

Beautifull tank for being only 2 months old.I'd say that you know what you are doing.

Thanks everyone. It helps to have a running 180 to mine for rock & sand. Too bad it was because I was breaking the 180 down to sell it. :(

Peace,

Chip

When are you getting that 995?

I'd like to see some good pics of your animals. It "looks" like you might have some nice pieces there. ;)

Nice efflo.. :D

Thanks. It came into the shop, and was the right size for the space I had, and then I saw the other SPS growing off the base and had to have it.

Chip, the tank looks fantastic. Nice to see another cube owner who stuffs thier tank full of LR like I did. ;)

I noticed the left panel of the tank isn't scraped, are you only scraping the front panel?

Hey, thanks. Actually, I just rearranged it so I'd have a little more space for the acro frags to grow out a bit.

I'm only scraping the front. The red slime is starting to go away, and I'm starting to get coralline on the back & powerheads, so I'd rather have that on the sides than have it scraped. Easier for me to maintain.

New light fixture is on the way, as well. Everything is proceeding according to plan.

Peace,

Chip

Amazing diversity Chip. I've never even seen or heard of a Cyphastrea before, along with that SPS you were talking about. Really neat rockwork scaping as well, when they grow into that mini-mountain you sure are going to be pleased. Great job so far

Thanks man! Coming from you that's quite a compliment. The re-arrangement of the rock doesn't look much different...if that stupid camera would get here I could take better shots. The tripod arrived today, so hopefully tomorrow...

Peace,

Chip

250 Watt 14K phoenix bulb over mine.

Chip, the tripod makes all the diference in the world. Turn off all your pumps, skimmer, whatever water flow you have to get even sharper images.
