I'm actually shocked at how easy all the plasticy stuff is to work with - I'm far more grounded in woodwork and glass, so all this forgiving raw material is great!

Just read your thread, looks great! Your DIY skills sure are improving! Do you have any pictures of the skimmer working? I am interested in hearing how that turns out.
