More watts for 12" T5???

Is 8 watts the highest that a 12 inch T5 bulb for the Eclipse 6 is available?

I have looked all over on the internet and various recommended vendors but cannot find what I am looking for but just want to make sure I am not missing anything. I am on a strict budget and trying to get this light switched over to higher wattage is looking like it is going to cost close to $100 the way I want to do it.

I don't know if this will be what your looking for but do a search for a post of mine entitled " T5 more output than MH" or something similar to that. In a nutshell the article I was referring to talked about over driving t5 bulbs to achieve more light. Its an interesting theory, one I haven't put into practice but its not totally uncommon.

are you sure that those are T5 bulbs? and not T8?
