I have been reading about some of the alleged specs of the new 24 nano. First the rumored lighting being 2x36 w yeilds less light per/gal than the new 12 gal deluxe....3W v. 4Watts/gal respectively. Why would they do this knowing the demand of better lighting for reef use. It would make more sense to go at least 96 W to keep 4 W/gal. I mean how much more trouble would it be?

How many of you are going to wait for the 24 instead of getting the 12 deluxe now?

If the reported 19x19 dimensions of the new tank are correct then I think I'll be retrofiting a 96w Quad PC light into the hood.

Yesterday I got a new 12g nanocube for my neighbor,,, now they have 2 fans pre-installed,, no other differences between it and my older 12g Cube.

the nanocube is neat, but I don't think the new larger one is really an improvement. i'll skip it.
