...you can drill a JBJ nanocube. I took a risk and realized about halfway through "Oh crap, I didn't even check to see if it was tempered or not." Well, it's not!

Anyway, linking together my two small tanks with a shared sump. Will post pics when all is up and running.

Cool. Are there special bits for drilling glass? If it's tempered, will it definitely shatter?

I didn't exactly drill it. I'm using a Dremel tool to cut a circle shape. Basically you can cut any shape hole you want with it.

The cheapest Dremel tool is around $30, and the two bits and collet you need to do it cost around $15 IIRC. They are the diamond tipped bits.

From what I understand if it's tempered it will shatter. Been fortunate not to have that happen:D

Yeah pretty much. I'm linking together my two tanks with a shared sump with a skimmer and CA reactor.

I will of course post pics once both are drilled and done.
