Help!!.. My 7g Nano is being taken over by some strange algae or weed that I cant control. It's the purpleish stuff. This is a old pic but my tank is slowly being overrun with the stuff. any advise on how to rid my tank of this stuff?.

When I downgraded that into a 10 and 12 I scrubbed the rock with a wire brush and so far, so good.. (Been about 2 months now, some nasty stuff came back, but not the stuff you got..)
'Course, mine was WAAAAAAY thicker than yours too.
