:?: :?: :?: Well I have added soem macroalgae to the tank and it came on two really neat peices..yes ones a shell half. But their are really interesting to watch. The search the top of the live sand for food. they extend and retrack for safety, they are clear whitish with sandy calcium tups somewhat similar to minidusters.

What are they?

I think what you're seeing there is some sort of deposit feeding worm, possibly a spaghetti worm. If you could get a clearer pic, without the added colors, it would help.

so spaghetti worms...are these good, bad, indifferenet? Do they sting? How big do they get?

Where can I get the 411 on them?

They're harmless. Try googling "spaghetti worm" and you'll get the phone book. They stay small, don't sting, and feed on detritus on the sandbed.
