New 14g Nano Advice

I picked up a 14g Nano system from a buddy of mine at the LFS a few weeks ago, it's a small acrylic tank and he had it up and running for a month or two (with LR, LS, snails and hermits). My main question is on filtration, it only came with a CPR hang on fuge (with macroalgae, miracle mud, LR, and a TON of pods). Is that enough filtration? The output from the fuge hardly creates any current. I plan to add just a pair of true percs, a peppermint shrimp, an anemone, and a softie or two. I have a 50g reef up as well with a 10g fuge and know the benefits of having one, but I'm not sure if the hang on model will work the same. Thanks!!

Sounds like a fine setup to me,, maybe just add a powerhead for circulation?
