So what are the recommendations of corals kept with SPS.. I know that softies could be a problem ie chemical warfare but what else can be kept.. LPS, Polyps, Mushrooms???
LPS, zoanthids I think, and ricordias. Probably certain softies like GSP and xenia. I think leathers, sinularias, and discomusa (spelling?) mushrooms are ones to stay away from.
If it were me, I would keep stonies in a sps only tank. It would make things easier in a small tank. That way the stonies can get the high flow they need without having to worry about the others. Mixed large tanks are great where you can have higher flow in certain parts of the tank. In a small tank you don't have the space for this. A clam or two, and different sps corals can make for a stunning nano also. JMO.
