Thought I would start a poll to see how the community defines tank sizes.

Take the poll and perhaps explain why you think the divisions make sense (or doesn't make sense  ).

Thanks.

From the available data, I selected the one you picked. If I could amend one part of the choice group I would say, JMO:

0-1 g Atto (we should find a way to categorize these popular sub-gallon setups as a step below 2.5g/pico which is pretty darn small)

1.1-2.5 Pico

same on up as previously listed

I dont really see any choices that agree with me..since this is a nanos forum i think we should leave out larger tanks...like if you go to nano-reefs.com, you will see that for the most part members dont have anything over a 20gal...going atto and femto and giga and terra is really irrelavent...since i really didnt vote on the poll, here is what i consider nano and pico

less than or equal to 2.5gal is a pico and 2.5 to 20 gal is a nano

i guess 2.5 gal can fall in that grey area teetering between nano and pico...

anything larger than 20 falls under a reef tank...thats whats nice if we keep the tank volumes small, it seperates how things are addressed in relavance to tank sizes and it gives us nano/pico keepers a community of our own
even though the goal of RDO is the same no matter the size of the tank..
keep in mind what good is talking about tangs or triggers if all you keep is a nano/pico?

my 2 deutch marks

I picked 6.
I'd agree with 2 and 6 though, both are basically the same, just with categorizing <1gals.
