No built in fan,,, but it's got a glass shield,,, I can rig a 4" fan to the top of the tank if necessary.
I have a couple of cheap spare 10k bulbs hanging around,,, I can always replace the bulb.
I think this probably has a medium socket, rather than the big mogel ones,,,so I'll have to get a medium-to-mogul converter,, they're only $10 or so.
