Im going to set up a 10g nano for my desk in my office. Can i get away with not having any filtration at all besides live rock? Im hopeing to have some live rock a clown or two and maybe a royal gramma, along with a couple of soffties and just maybe a bta.

sure you can. dunno how well it would work though :)

in a tank w/ no filtration you'll have to really keep up on the water changes. is that something you can do (easily) in your office?

also, i think that i would reduce the # of fish in there, but that's just me. i like a low bioload and whatnot, especially for tanks where cleaning is an issue.

A skimmerless 10g can work fine as long as you have good flow around the rockwork and perform regular water changes.

Your water will be somewhat 'particley' without any kind of particulate filtration,,, some sponges over the powerhead intakes will help with this.
