Is there a limit to how much live rock you can have. I am taking down a 30 gal tank and going to 20 long. My wife and I like the tank with a lot of rock and I was wandering if it could be to much. There is only a feather duster cluster in the and a very small toad stool leather.

Well it's all about balance, right?

Depending on your fish you stock, you may want to leave some swimming room. But that might not be a big deal. What I'd give a little thought to is how much water the extra rock is going to displace, thus allowing a smaller total water volume in your system. A larger water volume is more stable, more forgiving of your mistakes, should you make any.

Good luck!
